VCC exchange out of the game

On the morning of January 25, 2022, the VCC Exchange issued a STOP SERVICE notice, citing an internal policy change. However, the exchange did not provide or answer any further questions about these four “internal policies”.

To avoid losses, the exchange also requires users to withdraw their assets before February 14, 2022, and VCC Trade will also officially stop providing services from this date.

“Remember that you can only withdraw assets worth above our minimum withdrawal limit. If you have any problems withdrawing your assets, please contact us immediately by e-mail. Thank you for your understanding and we will make sure to be there to assist you anytime,” the exchange announced.

If you search for the keyword “VCC exchange is down” on Google, the first result will be the exchange’s world-wide-web page. However, a DNS error message appears when that link is clicked, preventing users from accessing it.

The content displayed on the outside shows that VCC will stop providing services to Vietnamese users, but it is not clear if the exchange will stop working globally or not.

Before that, there were many suspicions that VCC Exchange was a scam exchange. However, many articles have corrected and said that the exchange has a high reputation. For example, VCC’s development team is a well-known figure in the industry, with a public name and address, unlike other projects in Vietnam. In addition, VCC is also invested by large funds such as Signum Capital Axiom Associates. Signum Cash is Singapore’s richest royal fund that has invested in large projects in Vietnam with high returns such as Kyber Network, Tomochain.

In addition, VCC also displays company addresses in Singapore and Vietnam, showing that the floor always fully complies with state regulations. This exchange also appeared at major events with the participation of large funds such as Golden Gate Ventures, Vina Funds, representatives of government agencies, TV newscasts on VTV1, Vnexpress, Cafebiz. There have not been any suspicions or incidents of fraud related to VCC Exchange.

However, digging deeper, we can see that the Telegram exchange channel has been empty for quite a while, barely posting any updates from November 2021 to now. Similarly, the Twitter channel is in a similar situation.

We will continue to learn and update readers as soon as the latest information is available.
