The first project on our list is Star Atlas (ATLAS). Star Atlas is an MMO set in the year 2620 and built on the Solana blockchain. Users can earn in-game currency to buy anything from ships, space stations, land and even go on missions and other adventures.
The economy is built on two new cryptocurrencies. The first token ATLAS is a typical in-game currency. Players can earn ATLAS by performing various activities such as mining ore and selling to other players or selling NFT assets in the marketplace.
Almost every item in the game is NFT and owned by the player. They can also use ATLAS tokens to upgrade their assets, send tokens to an exchange, and trade them for other crypto or cash.

Neither token is actually required for the game but both have different utilities. The main ILV token has three main functions in the game: rewards, staking and governance.

Gala Game (GALA)
Last but not least is the Gala Games (GALA). The aim of Gala Games is to take the gaming industry in a different direction by giving players back control of their game. The mission of Gala Game titles is to create “blockchain games you really want to play”.
It has a playable demo that was first presented at Galliverse in December 2021. GALA is building on the Ethereum blockchain but it is in the process of releasing its own blockchain called GalaChain.
