Music group Warner is planning a music-themed virtual concert in partnership with Sandbox Metaverse.
Following the agreement, the companies will hold live concerts in the Sandbox Metaverse with famous warner music artists.

The well-known record label will also use virtual parcels of land purchased in The Sandbox to be used as venues for virtual concerts. Warner Music has not detailed details regarding the artists who will perform in the new musical Metaverse, however, it should be noted that the studio is home to many reputable musical artists including Ed Sheeran, Elektra, Erato Lizzo and Red Hot Chilli Peppers.

According to the official press release, the following partnership marks WMG’s first venture to explore the field of Metaverse and NFTs. According to Oana Ruxandra, chief digital officer and EVP, Business Development at Warner Music Group:
“Our partnership with The Sandbox adds a new layer of possibility in the metaverse, with virtual real estate ownership. As a first-timer, Warner Music has secured the equivalent of a beachfront property in the metaverse. On land, we will develop immersive, enduring social music experiences that defy real-world constraints and enable artists and their fans to engage like never before.
Furthermore, the “virtual property” will also function as a “hybrid space” that will accommodate a virtual music theme park and a concert venue.

Sandbox is known to have established a number of partnerships with top names across different industries including Snoop Dogg, Steve Aoki and Adidas. According to Coingecko, Sandbox is currently ranked as the third top gaming cryptocurrencies behind Decentraland and Axie Infinity with an average market cap of $3.2 billion.
The official press release adds that Sandbox will also hold a land sale at a later date, allowing fans and music enthusiasts to purchase desired parcels of land near WMG. metaverse locations.
