FTX Trading Limited (“FTX”), today announced the launch of FTX Ventures (“Fund”), 2 billion dollars venture capital fund focused on helping the world’s best teams build in the digital asset ecosystem. The core mission of FTX Ventures is to drive blockchain and web3 adoption globally, with broad investment mandates across the social, gaming, fintech, software, and healthcare sectors. The fund will invest in multi-stage companies and projects, providing flexible funding and strategic support from FTX and its global network of partners.

With the launch of the Fund, crypto investors Amy Wu joins FTX to lead Business, Gaming, M&A and Commerce Initiatives. Amy was most recently a Partner at Lightspeed Venture Partners, a $10 billion+ multi-stage venture fund where she leads crypto and gaming investments, including those of fund into FTX. Previously, she was an executive director at Discovery, Inc., a global media company, where she led operations and finance across Asian markets, digital and sports businesses. .
