Fashion retailer Gap is launching its first NFT collection covering technology, fashion, music and art on the more energy-efficient open-source Tezos blockchain. Gap seeks to bring new and existing customers into the rapidly growing digital ecosystem.
The brand is working with artist Brandon Sines to bring creativity and expression of positivity and equality into Gap’s digital collections. The NFT is made up of four levels: Common, Rare, Epic, and Single.
“With this partnership with Gap, the creative cycle has come full circle as it allows me to express the beautiful messages of Frank Ape while collaborating with one of the most classic brands in history.
I cannot wait to share the physical and digital pieces we’ve been working on with Gap and Frank fans worldwide,”
said the artist.
As the brand explained, the gamut experience includes collecting digital artwork of the iconic Gap hoodie at the Popular and Rare levels. This offers the opportunity to unlock and purchase the Epic limited edition digital work created by S Province along with the Gap x Frank Ape hoodie.
The collection launches January 13, 9 a.m. PST
