BAYC NFT creator and member with username GeeGazza created NFT “EminApe”, which depicts Eminem in Bored Ape form decorated with gold chain and camouflage hat; it was sold out to real life Eminem for 123.45 ether (about $450,000).
Prior to the sale, which popular digital agency Six had facilitated, GeeGazza had previously urged Grammy-winning rapper, Slim Shady, to buy NFT on the Twitter platform.
“EminApe” NFT is the latest addition to Eminem’s NFT collection under the moniker “Shady Holdings”, making it a total of 15 NFTs purchased on OpenSea.
Speaking of the “EminApe” sale, the creator via Twitter handle @Gee_Gazza, thanked the artist, “I live in a simulation. Thanks @Eminem, for buying my ape and joining the club! Madness. Let me write the lyrics of your next single,” he wrote.
