WhaleStats shows that Ethereum (ETH) whales, with over $17 billion worth of crypto holdings, purchased tens of millions of dollars worth of FTX Tokens, the utility coin of the crypto derivatives exchange. FTX.
In one transaction, the whale buying 1,408,969 FTT worth $49 million at time of purchase. Second transaction saw Cryptocurrency investors buy 1,049,990 FTT worth $36.51 million.
The FTX Token is currently changing hands at $38.07.
The whale, which comes at 557th in WhaleStats’ ranking of largest non-exchange Ethereum wallets, also purchased 4,250,000 MATIC tokens worth $8.79 million. Polygon, a blockchain scaling solution, is trading at $2.13 at press time.

Next is AAVE, the governance token of the lending and lending platform of the same name. WhaleStats shows that crypto owners bought 17.893 AAVE equivalent to 3.67 million dollars.
In a separate transaction, the holds rich crypto also splurge on Chainlink, accumulation 61,401 LINK tokens worth $1.53 million. The native token of the decentralized oracle network was valued at $28.14.
Finally, Ethereum Whales Also bought Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC), a crypto asset that represents Bitcoin (BTC) on the Ethereum network. According to WhaleStats, this whale devoured 43 WBTC worth $1.80 million.
In total, this whale spent over $101.30 million buying five digital assets. The massive purchases made amid a crypto market slump saw leading cryptocurrency Bitcoin plummet to a 90-day low of $40,672. Despite the downturn, many analysts trust that BTC will breach the six-digit mark this year.
